The NETGEAR M4250-40G8F-PoE+ (GSM4248P) AV Line Managed Switch has been specifically designed for the expanding AV over IP industry. The AV Line of the M4250 targets the common 1Gbps codecs, which are used by AV codecs and often consume 1Gbps or 10Gbps per stream. Clean integration in AV racks is guaranteed with PoE+, Ultra90 PoE++, and rear-facing ports. Standard audio and video signals are pre-configured for M4250 switches. An AV user interface allows flexibility with port-based profiles for more particular requirements. There are Q-SYS and AES67 profiles for Dante’s audio protocol in addition to an AVB profile that requires an additional AVB license.
